Messy Play

Babies likes to put everything in their mouth, do you know why? As babies develop better hands, eyes, mouth co-ordination, they naturally instantly put it in their mouth as a way of exploring their surrounding. Babies mouth contains many sensory nerve endings, mouthing objects help babies to learn about different taste, texture, shapes and sensations. Putting objects in their mouth can also be linked to teething, as the pressure can soothe sore gums. So I have designed messy play for babies who are 5 months to crawling. During this 6 week course, it is babies developmental stage and sensory play is really important to a baby to help strengthen connections in the brain which is great in later life. We offer the following:

  > Different types of food for babies

  > Nursery Rhymes

  > Bath time after messy play

  > Sensory activities

  > Discussion on food for babies

  > A introductory chart to get your babies started on food journey.
